You Can Make Lasting Memories At Splitsville

When I told the girls we were spending an afternoon at Splitsville during our stay at Disney, they got really excited. Thinking back, we couldn’t even remember if we had both taken our girls bowling all together, as a full family. We had such a blast, and you can make lasting memories at Splitsville too!! 

Thank you so much to Splitsville Orlando for hosting our family during our stay at Disney. Food, drink, gifts, and bowling were all provided to us by Splitsville. Opinions and experience are solely our own. 

As we walked up to the outside of Splitsville, and saw their signs, I thought to myself, “Hmmm, they must host some kind of dance parties too.” So let’s touch on this 4-step approach. Ha! Get it? The 4-step approach to the release line. That’s catchy!! 

Dine at Splitsville

Our awesome server, Josh, filled us in on the top menu picks, which are their sushi and pizza. But coming in, we knew we wanted going to get the Macho Nachos. Delicious and perfect for us to share. 

Burgers also sounded good to all of us, so we opted for us girls to share the Cheeseburger Sliders,

and Matt had the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. This burger loving family was impressed! We considered getting pizza too, but we all decided our bellies were full enough. 

As you come into Splitsville, you have the choice to dine, bowl, or both. 

With an upstairs, and outdoor seating, there is plenty of room for fun!

Dance to Make Lasting Memories at Splitsville

You may be wondering, where does the dancing come in? Let’s just say, they play the greatest music, and the dancing just happens. Waiting on the ball return? You just start dancing! Walking back from your turn bowling? Feet start dancing! Stepping up to take your turn? Hips starts swaying! Not sure, but I think they could add “sing” to the steps too. But then I guess that would be a 5-step approach. 

Drink

Whatever you’re in the mood for, I’m sure they offer it. Everything from beer and wine, to frozen and specialty cocktail, to soda, juice boxes and milk. One great thing about staying on property with Disney, is the option to bus over the Disney Springs, so if you indulge in any adult beverages you don’t have to drive anywhere!

There will be NO talk of scores here, LOL.  It will be our secret. There was a little sibling rivalry, but not enough to get in the way of fun!! 

Daddy/daughter bonding may have occurred. 

The Mickey & Minne on the bowling balls adds to the fun! 

Tips to Make Lasting Memories

For littles, you have the option of gutter guards and/or the ball ramp. 

If you drive yourself over, park in the Orange Garage, and park and the West end of the garage. As you come down, Splitsville is on the left. 

Bowling is by time, not game. So, if you choose to eat along with bowl, keep an eye on your time.

Catch yourself some live music outside!

They take walk-ins, but you can also make reservations on their website. 

Lastly, have fun and enjoy yourself. Let loose, dance, laugh, connect with your friends or family, and don’t take the game too seriously!  

Final Thoughts

Personally I have many things I love about staying on property at Disney, and favorite things I enjoy doing while we are there. I got to do many of those favorite things, but for this trip, bowling was the best thing we did together. It was new, different, and something we will now remember for years to come. And that is as Magical as anything.
