Marvel Must Do At Disney Parks
Anyone else looking forward to the addition of more Marvel attractions at the Disney parks? Our family sure is. Good news, there is some pretty fun entertainment, attractions, and meet & greets you can take advantage of already.
Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Live!! Do not miss, because you only have through August 19th to take part of the fun. A perfect combination of characters, dancing, entertainment, and most importantly the music!! We love the 70’s & 80’s music that make up the soundtracks for both Guardians movies. You can find the show in the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot. Showtimes are 5:30, 6:45 & 8:00 nightly.

Gods of the Vikings Display: This can also be found in Epcot, in the Stave Church Gallery, Norway. Not exactly a Marvel version, but if you have a Thor fan in the family, you’ll want to check out how the gods influenced the vikings, and how it ties into their character development in the movies.

Meet Baymax: Although he is not part of the box office smashes of Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is still a Marvel character. One of the most heart-warming heroes, and we look forward to the expansion of San Fransokyo. Tip: He is one of the few characters which are unable to sign autographs.

Meet Star Lord & Baby Groot: I am not sure I can even explain how far this exceeded my expectations. My cheeks were hurting so bad by the time we walked out from laughing so much. Spot on with improv and character matching!! They take ample time with each guest, and the interaction is totally worth it for all Guardians fans. Meet & Greet can be found in Hollywood Studios.

On June 22nd, we documented some of the progress for the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride coming to Epcot. I can remember not being very interested in seeing the first movie when it came out, because I had never heard of it in the Marvel arena. I reluctantly watched with my family, and was hooked in the first scene, music and all!! Now it is certainly one of our favorite Marvel series. We will continue to share the progress and look forward to Disney adding more Marvel to the parks.

Tell us about your Marvel experiences at Disney, and what Marvel would you like to see added to the parks?

As much as we visit, and travel to Disney, we still use a travel agent when not using our Disney Vacation Club membership. It costs us nothing, but saves us time and hassle. You can get free quotes from our agent, Amy, HERE.
I’m starting to understand why you guys love Disney so much! Loved the pics, too. 🙂
We hope our girls never outgrow going, just like us adults!!
