Monster Dough in Mount Dora, Now Closed
Very sad to say that Monster Dough is no longer open.

So many exciting things are happening in our little Golden Triangle area. And no, not all the road construction. I’m talking about the newest sweet shop, Monster Dough in Mount Dora.

Monster Dough offers twelve flavors of edible cookie dough, which includes chocolate chip, sugar cookie, cookies & cream, birthday cake, kitchen sink, and many more which will rotate depending on the season.

Along with cookie dough, Monster Dough also has nitrogen rolled ice cream. With five signature flavors of strawberry cookies & cream, s’mores, chocolate lovers, birthday cake, and cereal bowl. No fear, you can create your own by choosing your base cream flavor, mix-ins, and toppings.
What We Tasted
We all chose to have a rolled ice cream and cookie dough combo.

Josephine had the birthday cake rolled ice cream with cookies & cream cookie dough.

Anna had the cereal bowl fruity pebbles with sugar cookie dough.

I had the s’mores rolled ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough. Matt had vanilla Oreo rolled ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough.
More Menu Items
Monster Dough has many more sweet treats on their menu, such as traditional ice cream, shakes, cookie dough shakes, cookie dough in a waffle cone, and more.
They will also be rolling out more menu items in the near future. One we look forward to checking out, is their ice cream waffle tacos.
We sought out a nitrogen rolled ice cream place in Chicago, so we are happy to have one close to home. Have you had nitrogen rolled ice cream? What’s your favorite flavor? Let us know on Instagram.

I’ve never had nitrogen ice cream, but it sounds interesting. I would try it! And who doesn’t like cookie dough?!? I will need to check this place out when I visit!
It’s so good!! Happy these fun places are opening up around us.
All of that looks so good! Wish we had a place like this in my neighborhood in Jax.
Open one up, lol!! I’m surprised every larger city doesn’t have one!!
What a refreshing treat for the summer!!! I’ve seen some videos on social media about the rolled ice cream and always though it was so cool. I’m gonna look to see if they have one here in South Florida. ?
We had seen videos too. Then my daughter found a place in Chicago a couple years ago. Now we have one so close! I bet there must be one down there somewhere!

Looks so yummy! I had Nitrogen ice cream at one place near me in South Florida and service was kind of slow, good to have options up north.
It can take some time when it’s made to order, that’s for sure. We are happy to have options for sure!
