In the ever-changing world of Disney, one of the newest updates is the remodeling to the World of Disney Store at Disney Springs.
Just days after its grand re-opening, we happened to pop over to Disney Springs for a quick visit. I decided to peek in and check it out. I had only seen a couple pictures on social media, so I wasn’t fully sure what to expect. I was pretty blown away by the changes.
The wide open concept, with all the exposed brick allowed for much more space to move around. Although I did speak with a cast member, who filled me in about more merchandise heading to the store that will fill in more floor space. So be prepared.
The store is now a rustic, industrial, chic atmosphere. I love all the large metal, lighted signs to distinguish each category of merchandise.
There are lots more large windows to fill the store with natural light.
Cashier areas are still at each end of the store, and one smaller area in the middle, by the main entrance.
The store was already filled with Christmas when we were there on Halloween.
My favorite new area is most definitely the Mickey Mouse Club area.
So nostalgic to hear and see the original Mickey Mouse Club intro playing on the wall on continuous loop.
We had fun walking through the princess area. Makes me miss my girls being little.
There is still a Marvel area.
And a Star Wars area with lots of new stuff too!!
Almost the entire store is newly designed merchandise, so if you are looking for new Disney gear, you will want to check it out. I could have gone crazy over all the new t-shirts.
Have you been to the new store? What is your favorite area?
